1. ) uncount someone's refusal to accept behavior, beliefs, or opinions that are different from their own:
The party was accused of stirring up a climate of fear and intolerance.
political/racial/religious intolerance: These verbal attacks are clearly motivated by racial intolerance.
2. ) count or uncount if someone has an intolerance to a particular food or drink, they cannot eat it or drink it because it makes them sick:
intolerance to: I have an intolerance to cow's milk.
